In an eerily familiar world, a system is in place for the good of all. It works. It works well. The people accept it, as they always have, and surely, always will. And the only ones to challenge it are simply the selfish few that cannot bear the sacrifices needed for the greater good. Or at least, that's what people are told to think...

This was Sweet Sorrow's inaugural production - a rehearsed reading of The System, a new play by Edward Loboda, was broadcast live on Zoom on Friday 6th November 2020.

Shakespeare's Classic tale of betrayal, guilt and murder was brought to life for a digital audience by Sweet Sorrow Theatre Company in May 2021.
